Celebrating our women was never meant to be limited to one day, one office or one region. From Johannesburg to Polokwane, Cape Town, Saldanha and our other regions, our Women’s Month gifts have continued to reach the incredible women who form part of the RASRE family.
Seeing the smiles, receiving the messages of appreciation and hearing just how much this gesture has meant to our ladies has reminded us why it was important to ensure that every woman was celebrated.
And today, those smiles mean even more. At a time when our country is once again confronted by heartbreaking cases of violence against women, we are reminded that appreciating women must go beyond flowers, gifts and commemorative days. Recent discoveries of women’s bodies across Ekurhuleni have renewed national concern about the safety of women in South Africa.
To the women of RASRE: You matter. Your safety matters. Your voice matters. Your wellbeing matters.
